Stourfield Junior School is proud to be working towards the Anti-Bullying Quality Mark
This is an award which demonstrates the school does not tolerate any form of bullying. This award gives Stourfield the opportunity to gain accreditation and recognition in its achievement for developing an effective whole school approach against bullying.
Alongside the preventative work done in school we also offer opportunities for children to express their concerns or difficulties should they arise. We have a very strong pastoral team and a nurture unit where pupils can be given specific support.
Within school there is a pupil post box which provides an opportunity for children to ask for help if they feel they are having difficulties or make adults aware of other children who may be affected from bullying.
Bullying Steering Group
An Anti- Bullying group meet every half term to discuss ways to improve the excellent work already done in ensuring the school remains a bully free zone. The team is representative of all areas of the school community.
